Privacy Policy

Who we are

This booking service is operated by DriveSlots Ltd ("DriveSlots", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17339713), with its registered office at 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this service. You can contact us about privacy matters at privacy@driveslots.com.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• Details of your enquiry: the vehicle of interest, budget range, who the vehicle is for, intended purchase timing and reason for change.
• Appointment date, time and status, and any notes we add.
• Technical data such as IP address for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

We use your information to arrange and manage your appointment, to send you booking confirmations and reminders, and to follow up about your enquiry. Our lawful bases are the performance of steps taken at your request (to arrange your appointment) and our legitimate interest in following up on sales enquiries.

The dealership you book with

When you book an appointment, we pass your booking details to the dealership you chose so they can prepare for and host your visit. That dealership is a separate data controller and uses your information under its own privacy policy — please refer to that dealership for details of how it handles your data. We do not sell your data.

Service providers (sub-processors)

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the service. They process data only on our instructions and are bound by data-protection terms, and each has its own privacy policy:

• Vercel — application hosting (privacy policy)
• Neon — database hosting (privacy policy)
• Resend — sending email (privacy policy)
• Firetext — sending SMS, where enabled (privacy policy)

Retention

We keep your enquiry and appointment data for up to 24 months from your last interaction, after which it is automatically deleted, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we are required to keep it longer for legal reasons.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@driveslots.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Marketing

We will only send you marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
